Purty Mouth, Seattle's colorful country-tonk combo, has been performing since 2002, their unique take on country and pop music dialed in from an alternate (better) universe where Brokeback Mountain shares equal space alongside John Wayne. “Purty Mouth play up the humor of the stereotype with their entertaining lyrics, but never let the joke railroad their polished handle on their particular brand of country-tonk."

Greg Ruby returns from NYC to the Seattle and will perform at the Swedish Club on Friday, August 8 at 7pm. Joining Ruby will be violinist Julian Smedley, bassist Geoff Cooke and rhythm guitarist Arnt Artsen. Suitable to listening and dancing alike, the quartet will perform a mélange of compositions by guitarist Django Reinhardt, timeless swing standards and original work by Ruby. Description goes here
